Please read and understand this Policy carefully before using Glory View. Where your consent is required for a particular processing activity, we will obtain your consent through system permission prompts, in-feature notices, authorization pages, or other appropriate means. You may refuse to provide information required only for optional functions. If you refuse, the relevant function may become unavailable, but other functions will generally remain unaffected.

I. How We Collect and Use Personal Information

We follow the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith, and process only the personal information necessary to provide specific functions.

1. Account Registration, Login, and Management

When you register for or log in to a Glory View account, we may process:

We process this information to complete account registration and login, verify your identity, recover your account, perform security verification, and manage your account.

If you do not provide information required for registration, you may be unable to register an account or use functions that require login. Functions that do not require login will not be affected.

2. Connecting, Pairing, and Controlling Smart Devices

When you connect, pair, bind, or control smart glasses, earphones, or other supported devices, we may process:

We process this information to discover devices, complete pairing and binding, maintain connections, send control commands, display device status, synchronize media, and troubleshoot connection issues.

3. Media Capture, Synchronization, and Local Management

When you use smart glasses to take photos, record video or audio, or synchronize media files from a device to your mobile phone, we may process the following information locally on your device:

Media files are generally transferred between the smart device and your mobile phone through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a local network, and are saved in the App’s local storage or the system photo library according to your instructions.

Unless you actively use AI recognition, speech transcription, translation, troubleshooting, sharing, or another function that clearly requires uploading, we will not automatically upload these media files to our business servers or AI service providers.

4. AI Voice Assistant and AI Conversations

When you actively use the AI voice assistant or AI conversation functions, we may process:

The purpose of processing is limited to recognizing your instructions, understanding your input, generating responses, and providing the requested AI function.

To provide these functions, text, images, or audio that you actively submit may be sent to Doubao AI Services or Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for real-time processing. The AI functions do not upload video files.

Under our current service configuration:

Please do not include unnecessary identity documents, account passwords, payment information, precise residential addresses, trade secrets, or other sensitive information in your AI input. If the content you submit contains another person’s personal information, you must ensure that you have obtained lawful authorization.

5. Speech Recognition, Audio Transcription, and Content Generation

When you use real-time or non-real-time speech recognition, audio transcription, subtitles, task extraction, meeting summaries, or other content-generation functions, we may process:

The purpose of processing is limited to providing speech recognition, audio transcription, subtitle generation, summaries, and content generation.

The relevant text, images, or audio may be sent to Doubao AI Services or Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for real-time processing. We do not store this business content on our own servers, and we do not upload video files.

6. AI Image Recognition

When you actively use AI object recognition, image understanding, or related functions, we may process images that you capture or select and any related questions you enter.

Images may be sent to Doubao AI Services or Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for real-time processing. We do not store the images or recognition results on our own servers.

7. Translation

When you use conversation translation, simultaneous interpretation, audio translation, text translation, or image translation, we may process:

The purpose of processing is limited to speech recognition, text recognition, and generating translation results. Relevant text, images, or audio may be sent to Doubao AI Services or Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for real-time processing. We do not store translation content on our own servers and do not upload video files for translation.

If the translation function identifies the position of a face locally on the device solely to display subtitles in an appropriate location, we will not use facial features for identity recognition or retain facial-feature templates.

8. Call Alerts, Captions, and Notification Summaries

When you actively enable call alerts, call captions, or notification summaries, and after obtaining the required system permissions, we may process:

We process this information to display incoming-call alerts, generate call captions, and summarize notifications.

You may disable permissions such as Contacts, Notifications, or Microphone at any time in your mobile phone’s system settings. After a permission is disabled, the corresponding function will no longer be available.

9. Douyin Live Streaming and YouTube Live Streaming

When you actively use Douyin Live or YouTube Live, the App will, according to your instructions, directly stream the real-time video and audio captured by your smart glasses to the live-streaming platform you select.

To use Douyin Live or YouTube Live, you must log in to and authorize the relevant platform account. The App may process and store the following information only on your mobile phone:

This information is used only to verify platform authorization, identify the live-streaming account, create and manage live streams, display live-streaming status, and troubleshoot local issues. It is not uploaded to our business servers and is not used for advertising, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

We do not obtain your Douyin account password, Google account password, private messages, contacts, or account content unrelated to live streaming.

9.4 Deletion of Live-Streaming Data and Revocation of Authorization

At present, when you log out of the relevant live-streaming platform account in Glory View, the App deletes the following information stored locally on your mobile phone:

Logging out of the account or uninstalling the App will not automatically delete live streams, videos, or replays already transmitted to Douyin or YouTube. Such content must be deleted using the management functions provided by the relevant platform.

Deleting local tokens does not necessarily revoke the access authorization already granted by a third-party platform. You may also revoke Glory View’s authorization through the third-party connections or authorization-management page of your Google Account, or through the account-authorization management function provided by Douyin.

Google Account authorization-management page:
